At the Royal College of Art, where many programs last just a year, students often arrive without a network, unfamiliar with the city or school community, leading to a cycle of acquiring, briefly using, and discarding belongings. This experience inspired me to create a platform—a kind of library where people can share not just physical objects but the personal stories behind them. It serves as a digital and emotional archive that values continuity, memory, and sustainability over disposability. In a world shaped by capitalism and mass production, our connection to material things often feels hollow, yet our desire for objects comes from something deeper—they are not just products, but traces of who we are.
